GPS was tasked to supply a new standby diesel generator set for a utility company to increase site resilience. The generator selected was the Himoinsa HFW500-T5 generator set housed within a weatherproof sound attenuated enclosure. The control system was upgraded to ComAp IGNTC to allow synchronising and load sharing between the existing 1000 kVa generator and the mains utility supply.

A private customer contacted GPS to supply and install a generator set to their domestic property. We carried out a full site survey with load test to ensure the customer had the right generator for their requirement. GPS selected the Himoinsa HSY25 generator as the best match for the requirements, this was due to the small footprint and excellent value for money.

The generator set was installed and commissioned just a couple of weeks after the initial site survey.

GPS were asked by one of long standing customers to supply a generator for a wash plant located at one of their new gravel pits. The customer supplied GPS with the load requirements for the plant and a suitably sized SDMO V550 generator was supplied and delivered to site. GPS have supplied numerous generators to this customer ranging from 10 kVa to 630 kVa operating in the toughest of environments.

During routine maintenance at a customers site, GPS noticed that voltage was showing incorrectly on one of the old DEIF generator controllers. Further investigations were carried and it was discovered that the generator controller had become faulty. No direct replacement was available due to the age of the system, so the decision was made to completely upgrade the generator control system. GPS supplied, installed and fully tested a new system comprising of 2 x Deepsea electronics 8610 synchronising and load sharing generator controllers along with a deepsea electronics 8003 common remote display.

GPS was tasked to supply and install a new standby generator set for another of our long standing customers. GPS removed the existing FG Wilson 80 kVa generator and installed a new Inmesol ID165 open generator set. The installation included the generator, inlet and outlet attenuator and louvres, exhaust system and connection to the existing 14000 ltr diesel storage tank. The system was then commissioned along with integrated system testing.
